Strikers surge past Morris United 5-2

The Strikers continued their strong play as they broke a 2-2 tie in the second half as Christian Carbeau made a beautiful cross to George Nisbet who converted his second goal of the game to give the Strikers a 3-2 lead. The Strikers went on to score two more additional goals to close the game out.

Paul Silva, who made his Striker debut in goal, along with the strong defensive play of Will Sacher, Sean Mack Jason Alves, John DeFrancesco and Justin Chu Mack helped to contain a strong Morris United counterattack.

Liam Dunphy led off the Strikers scoring on a feed from George Nisbet. Other goals were scored from Jonathan Iandiorio on an assist from Brian Daniels and Steven Sardini on an assist from George Nisbet.

It was another team effort as the passing and speed of play continues to improve!
