Rockers Run Streak to 5 on Byrne Hat Trick

Rockers played an evening tilt with the BB Blast and came away win a 5-1 win.

After going down 1-0 the Rockers rallied with 5 goals to secure the home win.

Jess Byrne opened the scoring on a feed from Chelsey Fenyk. A few minutes later Byrne connected for her second after picking off a goal kick and depositing it into the back of the net. Byrne completed her hat trick on a follow up after Gracie Kelly ripped one off the crossbar.

Kelly rounded out the scoring in the first half off a feed from Mia Zirpoli.

Zirpoli scored the lone goal of the second half off a rebound.

The Rockers held possession and forwards Ashley Pomante and Gianna Green created solid scoring chances. The midfield was held together by Ashley Peterson, Isabelle Medich, Manuela Restrepo, and Sabrina Casola. In the back the defense was led by Gia Dalessio, Ryan Oleary, Sara Coto, Abbie Franco and Celine Ramos. The Rockers finish up the season this Sunday at home vs Long Valley.
