Slow 30 Hurt Firestorm

Madison NJ – It took the Florham Park Firestorm 30 minutes to get going in their opening game of the 2018 Spring Season.   The boys were on the road against Morris Elite at Bayley Ellard Field this past cold and windy Saturday where they found themselves on the wrong end of a 6 – 1 halftime score.    The first 30 minutes of the game

The boys rallied back in the second half with 4 unanswered goals closing the gap in score line to 6-5.

Second half net minder Reid Baldwin kept the ball out of danger for the entire 30 minutes and even stopped a penalty kick.

Coach Garing was asked about the game

“Neither team can really walk away happy.  It was an ugly game on both ends.  My job is to just get them ready for the next match and leave this one behind”

Florham Park Firestorm will have their first home game this Sunday at 1:15 against Hanover Firestorm in what is being dubbed as the FIRESTORM DERBY
