It’s Raining GOAAAALLLLS!

Florham Park – June 2/3 Weekend: The Landsharks improved their record to 4-2 over the weekend with two wins against the Summit Dash. The Landsharks put the ball into the net a total of 10 times and only gave up a 2 goals. The first game was shortened by lightning and thunder just after the half, and ended 3-1. The second game ended 7-1 with the second half dedicated to passing and letting players swap around positions.
Goals were in abundance and scored in no particular order by Ava (2), Caitlyn (1), Astrid (2), Parv (1), Alley M (1), Tory (2), Avi (1).
Astrid Yougren and Ava Adochio played a strong games in the forward position.
The Midfield was dominated by Caitlyn Fenyk, Olivia Franco, Tori Henning, Ally Massarano, and Patsy Shallis.
Defensively, Ally Burmeister, Camran Sward, Parv Chiarella and Avi Tenore circled the defensive waters and frustrated the Dash midfielders and forwards.
In Goal we had our normal suspects, Patsy Shallis, Ava Adochio, Camran Sward, Olivia Franco all playing at their best. Making a special appearance in goal and earning the good sport award was Caitlyn Fenyk, after being assured by Coach Franco that there would be no shots on goal, only to face 3 shots and a direct penalty kick after a hand ball.
Our next two games are against an undefeated team, the CWC Cougars who seem to be tearing it up in flight two. The Landsharks hope to take a bit out of their scoreless streak this week. We Are Blue and White and Ready to Fight!
