OTHER
There will be SPRING REC Registration coming up this week. Not that you need to register your kids for this, but I wanted to let you know in case people ask you as liaisons to the club
Spring Rec normally is just PREK, KINDER and 1st GRADE Clinic. But Vic and I will be looking to expand it this year to wherever the demand is.
We have had a lot people ask about 2nd grade, and I think we can do 6/7/8 Grade again.
If you get approached, please send them my way.
KEEP IT UP CLUB
This winter and going forward, we are doing a KEEP IT UP CLUB (Juggling)
There are achievement levels for those that can juggle 25+, 50+. 75+ and 100+
DO NOT SEND THIS OUT TO ANYONE YET, BUT LOOK IT OVER AND GIVE ME YOUR THOUGHTS ON IT AS I FINALIZE THIS WEEK
(I just need to figure out some prizes or certificates to hand out)
Juggling is not important in a game of soccer. But it does help with controlling a ball with soft touches. So it can help.
Case in point, last Sunday my son kicked a ball to Bryce across the brooklake gym (full court), Bryce took the ball out of the air and started juggling with it.
He has an amazing touch and he juggles all the time
ANYTHING ELSE
What else are you guys up to ? Any tournaments. United, wolFPack and Firestorm are all doing Drew Indoor tournament. Anything else you guys are up to ?
Let me know if you have any questions about anything in this email.
Let me know if you have any questions about WINTER or upcoming SPRING
Let me know if you read this email
We will look to have a meeting with you guys before SPRING starts up as we sort
out training and all that good stuff.
Thanks
Christian Garing
